Your Role
Parents and guardians play an important part in helping teens use SmartieBytes safely. We encourage you to:
- explore the site with your teen
- discuss online safety and privacy
- help them understand what information should not be shared online
- guide them through tutorials and creative activities
Age Requirements
SmartieBytes is designed for:
- teens aged 16+
- adults of all ages
Teens aged 14–15 may browse SmartieBytes only with parental permission and supervision.
SmartieBytes is not intended for children under 14.
Data & Privacy
We follow Australian youth‑online safety guidelines by:
- limiting data collection
- avoiding personalised tracking
- avoiding targeted advertising
- providing clear, accessible safety information
- deleting any personal information accidentally submitted by minors
Educational Support
