Hello, I’m Elizabeth — though online, most people know me as Libertybelle. I’m a creative‑cyber strategist based in Melbourne, blending cybersecurity, technical writing, and gentle, human‑centred design into one mission:
to make technology feel calm, clear, and empowering for everyone.

Smartie Bytes is my corner of the internet where I teach people how to stay safe online, understand new technology, and troubleshoot the everyday digital frustrations that make life harder than it needs to be. I believe tech shouldn’t feel overwhelming — it should feel like something you can breathe around.

I wear a few hats, and I love how they all connect:

• Cybersecurity education — I break down scams, digital hygiene, and online safety in a way that feels human, not intimidating.
• Technical writing — I translate complex tech into friendly, step‑by‑step guides anyone can follow.
• Canva design & digital resources — I create calm, structured templates, diagrams, and learning tools that make tech education visually accessible.
• Creative problem‑solving — I think intuitively, design intentionally, and troubleshoot with clarity when things get messy.

Everything I create — from tutorials to diagrams to full learning systems — is built with the same intention:
to help people feel more confident, more capable, and more in control of their digital world.

🌿 My Approach

I’m a big believer in making tech feel human.
That means:

• no jargon walls
• No shame for not knowing something
• no “you should already understand this” energy

Instead, you’ll find calm explanations, clear visuals, and a tone that feels like a patient friend sitting beside you, guiding you through it.

My design style — the Sage Edition aesthetic — reflects that: soft, intentional, grounded, and quietly empowering.

💛 Why I Do This

Because I know what it feels like to be overwhelmed by technology.
And I also know the relief that comes when someone explains it in a way that finally clicks.

Helping people reach that “ohhh, I get it now” moment is one of my favourite things in the world.
